Day 1 of quarantine: We have everything we need to survive the next few weeks and hunker down.
Day 1 and 15 minutes of quarantine: "But I NEED a fountain soda from the gas station!"
Random Thoughts:
Lockdowns can't just happen suddenly. They can't just boom, close everything. Because that would be Martial Law, and we know that would turn out to be a nightmare. Martial law takes 5 steps to implement. It has to be fed to us in chunks or America becomes the Big Igloo. (If you're not involved in the liberty movement, that means chaos in the streets ;)
Because you have the super-rich who is IN the know. Have the resources, secret society kind of stuff (not quite as bad as Hollywood makes it sound, but close... look at the Epstein thing and all the weird shit they're saying he was into)
Then you have the regular rich, normal people living lives, too rich to care about anything much more than their travels and fun times and ball games and vacays. (think escalades and Cadillac's), and most B-List celebs fall here).
You have the upper-middle class. These are the ones that live wonderful fun lives with their perfect families in their keep up with the joneses slapjack houses that all look alike. 99% of those people refuse to even consider looking into anything that isn't lollipops and rainbows because that would disrupt their perfect lives and yearly trips to Disney World and Hawaii.
Then you have the regular folk like us. We're the middle children of America. Mostly between 23ish to 50. No one pays much attention to us, but we're more woke and aware than the general public. We are too exhausted and mentally frayed from TRYING to keep up with a healthy balance of providing needs for our families, but also saving money as much as possible for fun stuff because we need it to keep from going insane. So we don't make much of a fuss unless we need to, and then we protest, peacefully and hold our signs, and get involved and tell others to vote! It's their duty, right? It doesn't matter if you KNOW what you're voting for just VOTE!. So we're driving the masses to further every group of people's income and ways of life and maintain that status quo. We don't have lots of money to just do anything we want, but we are pretty comfortable and we have luxuries like paid bills, full gas tanks, full fridges or decently full, we don't wonder where our meals come from. We have internet, devices, good food, and hair salon appointments. We have decent jobs that pay okay but not well. But it doesn't matter because our kids are happy and well-fed and we know as long as nothing too drastic happens, we can maintain that happy life for 70 years or so.
Then there are the poors. They live paycheck to paycheck and on borrowed money. They're behind on all bills, many start to dabble in harder drugs like cocaine, shrooms, pills, alcohol abuse, things like that just to try to forget how bad they really do have it. They likely can't afford internet, and they have month-to-month phones that they can't really do much with data-wise, and they have social media but they only use it to bitch about their lives and drama. They're on welfare and rely on the government to survive, so even though most of those people are damn well aware of how fucked up our government really is, and how shaky our way of life really is (which we're proving how shaky it really is right now as the world burns down around us during the plague), but they don't DARE make a big fuss about it because they would be homeless or dead from starvation if they couldn't get that handout. They gotta raise their kids too.
Then there are the junkies. They give ZERO fucks about shit. Most are unaware of anything. The tweakers and heroin addicts that walk around like zombies picking at their skin and fucking up everything they touch like the god damn opposite of King Midas.
Of course, you have the middle ground ones too, all the people who fall between the cracks of those groups somewhere in each grey area.
So anyhow, the ONLY ones in that entire list of groups of people willing to stop and say "okay, we need to be thinking rationally here and do what we need to do to protect humanity are those of us middle kids that no one notices. The ones who like 70's, 80's AND 90's music but don't come at us with that 2000's rap scene. We're the "cool kids". We party but not too hard, just a few beers and shots with our friends sometimes when the kids are away or when we gather at homes. We are dangerous to the establishment because we have pulled. We have friends in ALL those grey areas. We know ex junkies, and have friends and exes who have turned into the junkies. We have the mutual friends between us and those people who will hear our whispers of our indignation and start to get itchy, not because they want to help, but because they see this as an opportunity to say "fuck it, nothing to lose now, let's boogaloo and fuck shit up!!". Those are the dangerous ones to us right now. They don't give a single fuck about coronavirus, most are ready to die if they can go out with a bang and be a legend among their junkie friends. They just want to steal shit and finally have things for once. Now, they can have anything they want. They can break into homes, steal the luxuries we've worked hard for. .Though they'll realize we're armed and move on to the Joneses and the next tier rich people because those people have already left their homes in this scenario to head for the summer homes in the woods and rivers and lakes and deserts of Las Vegas and Scottsdale. But not ours, because most of us are well-armed due to our awareness of how things are. Not the super-rich either, because they're unobtainable.
So if a full martial law were called without implementing the 5 steps to martial law, we would see a major uprising of violence break out among the classes of society. This is why "suggested" restrictions come first. (Step 1) and then if they aren't adhered to, and people just continue doing what they do, then the next step has forced the closure of entertainment districts and venues. (Step 2) Then all non-essential companies. (basically anything but health, banks, and food), (Step 3) then soft lockdowns (step 5), then hard lockdowns, (Step 5), then martial law.
So stay the f inside ya'll!!
